12 Tracks Completed For the New T-Wayne Album

The long-discussed T-Wayne album, pairing a now-rock-obsessed Lil Wayne and R&B hookmaster T-Pain, is still a priority despite being a work in progress, according to T-Pain.

“We got 12 songs right now,” Pain told MTV News. “We going slow; there’s no rush. It can come out whenever. We’re gonna keep it pushing, however. It’s gonna be pushed.”

The collaborative effort, first conceived last summer amidst success of the singles “Got Money” and then “Can’t Believe It, ” has been put on the back burner since the two stopped touring together during this past winter’s “I Am Music” tour.

“He’s sending me blank tracks, I’m sending him blank tracks,” T-Pain told MTV last year as the project was in its infancy. “He’s sending me tracks with hooks, I’m sending him tracks with hooks. It’s just our hectic schedules are keeping us from recording. … But we both have studios on the bus. So we take that tour bus anywhere we go — it’s a done deal.”

While there’s no timetable on a solo release from T-Pain, Weezy, on the other hand, will be the next to hit shelves with his rock Rebirth, pending further delays.

Dolla Immortalized on T-Pain's Chevy Chevelle

T-Pain honored Dolla by painting his image on the hood of his 1972 Chevy Chevelle.

Both artists were signed to Jive Records and collaborated on Dolla’s single “Who the F**k Is That?” The late 21-year-old rapper, who T-Pain called one of his best friends, was gunned down at the Beverly Center in Los Angeles last month.

“Showin my respects for my dog r.i.p. On the 72 chevy chevelle,” T-Pain tweeted.

Bryan ‘Baby’ Williams Sued Over ‘Birdman’ Royalties

Finnish business man Jari Kuosma has filed a lawsuit against Cash Money Records, demanding over $200,000 in owed royalties in connection with Bryan “Birdman” Williams’ partnership with Lugz, Inc.

Kuosma owns the trademark for the name “Birdman.”

His company, Birdman OY, Inc. – founded in Helsinki in 1999 and currently operating in Omaha, Nebraska – sells wing suits, skydiving apparel and equipment, and street wear inspired by the skydiving lifestyle.

The company’s website says it is “the most well-known skydiving brand and the leading wing suit manufacturer in the world.”

In early 2004, Kuosma granted a nonexclusive license to use the “Birdman” name for Baby’s Lugz footwear line.

In exchange, Kuosma was to receive 35% of the royalties paid to Cash Money for footwear sold.

The license agreement was terminated three years later when Kuosma decided he did not want to extend the terms of the license.

In February 2008, Cash Money Records and Lugz confirmed that the New Orleans-based label earned a total of $522, 835.40 in royalties.

Thus, Kuosma and his company were owed $217, 992.39.

On February 13, 2008 Kuosma and Cash Money settled on a payment arrangement whereby the defendant would receive his royalties in six monthly payments of $36, 332.05.

However, as of the filing of the lawsuit on Friday (May 29), not a single payment has been made.

Kuosma and his attorney’s have requested that the District Court of Douglas County, Nebraska grant him a judgment against Cash Money records in the amount of the owed royalties, “plus interest, costs and fees as allowed by law.”

The Lugz Birdman line has been discontinued for over a year.

Kendra Working the Pole.....

There was a time when seeing a stripper pole in someone’s home led to some pretty interesting discussions. But not any more.

Over the years stripper poles have been cropping up in the homes of women who probably never saw the inside of a strip club.

TV personality Kendra Wilkinson, whom you might know as one of Playboy magnate Hugh Hefner’s three girlfriends, has just taken up what will soon be the new celebrity exercise craze: working a pole!

Kendra recently had a pole installed in her home and she hired an instructor to teach her how to use it safely to tighten up her abs, forearms, upper body and legs. According to this post Kendra left on her blog yesterday, she is now working the pole with the best of them!

ive definitely hit the pole a time or two just for fun but wanted to learn the best ways to use it to get my body in smokin shape and look hottttt while doing it. i decided to take a professional lesson and had fitness instructor Estee Zakar come to my house to show me how to swing like a pro! its one of those things that people think they could never do but its a LOT easier than it looks…TRUST ME!!!!
this is one of the best ways to work out and at the same time get your significant other worked up…just ask hank lolololol.
tomorrow ill post a video from my lesson so you can get some pointers on how to master the pole!!!

Eminem and Bruno Staged that Stunt @ the MTV Awards

Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson ended any and all speculation when she told USA Today that the most bizarre publicity stunt in television history (in my opinion) was indeed staged.

“That was staged!,” actress Taraji P. Henson, who helped introduce Eminem’s performance at the show, told USA Today. “Do you really think it wasn’t? They would not put a man’s naked (butt) in Eminem’s face and not let him know. Come on! They’re not stupid. When something crazy didn’t jump off, I was like, ‘Oh, OK! He knew!’

Life & Style reports that producer Mark Burnett cleared the prank with the rapper beforehand. Eminem was actually Burnett’s second choice after heiress Paris Hilton, who obviously declined to participate. [link]

If Taraji says it then I totally believe her because she’s so real! Case closed!
