New Music: Drake Replacement Girl Featuring Trey Songz

This is the 1st song that I heard by Drake, which began the obsession that I have with him. Check out the video of him and the big homey Trey Songz. Drake looks so young this had to be about 3 or 4 yrs ago, cause I heard it a long time ago.

Christte Michele Video Finally!!

I know I'm kinda late, but I just finally found the embedded code of the video that features the hottest new artist Drake aka Drizzy. Check him out in the background.

Drake Freestyling with NO Blackberry!!

Check out Drizzy in his hometown of Tornoto,Canada giving them a special performance of "Say You Will"!! Hopefully you guys have begun to hear Drizzy on the radio, as they should be playin him now since he has concert dates posted.

Poor Ciara.....

Ciara’s new CD (I forget the name of it) placed a disappointing 3rd in first week sales with only 80,990 units sold. Chrisette Michele’s stellar sophomore release Epiphany came in at #1 with 83, 060 copies sold.

All I can say is the mood in Ciara’s camp right now is not exactly upbeat.

We’re so proud of Chrisette! THe 26-year-old’s soulful album of love-gone-wrong ballads and upbeat tunes is solid and heartfelt. Chrisette’s Epiphany easily outpaced Ciara, who never really had a chance due to lack of radio play. I can’t say I’m sorry for Ciara because her attitude went South immediately after “Goodies” made her a household name. Now her name is toast.

I’m surprised Jay Z let her go out on tour with

DRAKE's collaboration with JayZ

Tornoto's own DRAKE continues to get a lot of press.

Drake recently talked to DJ Semtex about his new rumored collaboration with Jay-Z. Drake confirmed the track, saying that Just Blaze produced it, saying “I’ve been blessed enough to work with Jay in the last couple weeks and I mean people are just gonna have to wait, you’ll have to see what comes of it.”

Not giving much more details, Drake did say working with Jigga was “the most key moment in my life.”

New Music: Twista

Check out this new song from Twista, reppin my hometown of Chicago! I'm don't really know how I should feel about this song. It reminds me of his song "Get it Wet", nothings original about this at all.

Kid Cudi Talks about Getting Snubbed for his Album

Kid Cudi recently spoke on what fans could expect from his forthcoming debut album Man on the Moon: The Guardian and admitted to being turned down for features by rappers including Andre 3000.

Writing via his blog, Cudi confirmed his album’s limited feature list and a change he has decided to make as a result.

“I only have three features for my album which is my big homie Snoop [Dogg,] Kanye [West,] and Common,” he wrote unmodified. “The other two artists I asked so far to be on my album: Lily Allen and Andre 3000, have declined my request for a collab. It made me realize though, do I really wanna go in on features? Sure I like these artists but this first album needs to be about what I can do…Ultimately, this does change the theme of the album now so the subtitle will not be called ‘The Guardians’…I got a couple ideas for the new subtitle.”

Scheduled to drop this August, Cudi was reportedly recording tracks with a star-studded line-up of producers.

Cudi currently has been in the studio with Travis Barker, Ryan Leslie, will.i.am, Swizz Beatz and Just Blaze in a bid to finish his debut album. Cudi’s project will likely feature production from labelhead boss Kanye West. The record, which will include hit single “Day ‘N’ Nite”, is said to be put forward for purchase across America on August 25.

He officially signed to Universal Motown last month, joining forces with labelmates Lil Wayne and Busta Rhymes.

“Kid Cudi is at the vanguard of a game-changing new generation of artists,” Universal Motown President Sylvia Rhone said in a statement. “He crosses musical boundaries with an appeal that goes beyond genre, format, race, language, and culture. Cudi lives easily in the hip-hop, indie rock, pop, and R&B worlds…He is a breath of fresh air - a dynamic and important new voice, not only in the next phase of hip-hop, but as a groundbreaking trendsetter who represents the future. I am thrilled to welcome Kid Cudi into the Universal Motown family.”

He is currently billed to perform alongside Weezy in London this summer.

Adding a second performance to his touring plans after his first July 6th show reportedly sold-out for London’s HMV Hammersmith Apollo venue, Wayne is now slated to perform the following day, July 7th, at the popular location with Kid Cudi billed for the first showcase.
