Poor Ciara.....

Ciara’s new CD (I forget the name of it) placed a disappointing 3rd in first week sales with only 80,990 units sold. Chrisette Michele’s stellar sophomore release Epiphany came in at #1 with 83, 060 copies sold.

All I can say is the mood in Ciara’s camp right now is not exactly upbeat.

We’re so proud of Chrisette! THe 26-year-old’s soulful album of love-gone-wrong ballads and upbeat tunes is solid and heartfelt. Chrisette’s Epiphany easily outpaced Ciara, who never really had a chance due to lack of radio play. I can’t say I’m sorry for Ciara because her attitude went South immediately after “Goodies” made her a household name. Now her name is toast.
